For some long time now, all the Apple MacBooks have been working on the Broadwell processors. It is now time for them to move on to a new processor which we all know is going to be the Skylake processor which will increase the graphic processing performance and also the battery efficiency.
The new processor will feature in a number of new MacBooks that are scheduled to come out this year. We will talk about some of them here starting with the 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina 2016. The MacBook Pro Retina still uses the Haswell processor since its last upgrade. So it is almost sure to get upgraded to the Skylake processor. We can also expect a major design upgraded as both the 15-inch and the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina have been coming with the same design from 2012.
A new MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch is also expected to come out this year with upgraded processors. However, experts suggest it is the current MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch you should look out for. When the new MacBook comes out, the older one will be up for sale with big discounts and with the Retina display and the good battery backup, it is not a bad deal at all.
Another new MacBook that we will be seeing this year will be the new MacBook Air 2016 which are also running on the Broadwell processors. MacBook Air is also expected to get a major make-over as the design has remained the same for 6 years since 2010. So as soon as the new MacBook Air comes out, the one with the Broadwell Processor will get huge discounts.
